It sucks. The Hague tribunal is a farce, do you know Americans are exempt? American officials can't be indicted by this "international" court.

What a joke. Holland is a disgrace for collaborating with state terrorists. This tribunal should be relocated to Antarctica.

Few thousand deaths in New York and Bosnia are a "tragedy", millions of deaths in Russia, China, Africa or the Middle East are "statistics".

woo.. what else did stalin say?

xmas13 07-21-2008 02:56 PM

How many Serb civilians killed by UN/American bombs?

How many Lebanese civilians killed by made-in-USA Israeli warplanes?

How many Islamic leaders like the dictator of Sudan will be tried in The Hague?

.......................

Arrest Blair, Bush, Olmert... or free Karadzic.

xmas13 07-21-2008 03:00 PM

What's the fucking difference between dropping a bomb on a village and executing the same amount of people with more traditional methods?

It's the same, don't you fucking get it? Only we could afford warplanes, missiles and they could not.

xmas13 07-21-2008 03:05 PM

American warplanes are chasing theology students in Afghanistan and unemployed young men in Iraq, not lions or elephants.

That's what they don't fucking tell you in the news. And the soldiers are not professionals but poor kids from Wisconsin or Nebraska.

It's dirty war like in Viet-Nam.

xmas13 07-21-2008 03:13 PM

Saddam Hussein was gassing Kurds, the US Army is testing new low-yield nuclear bombs and microwave weapons in Afghanistan mountains and on Arabs.

"But inside a ragged tent at the entrance of the Wolmi park, a group of aging South Koreans want to tell the world of a hidden side of the U.S. military's triumph, a story of burning carnage not mentioned in South Korea's official histories or textbooks.

According to the commission's other findings, on Jan. 19, 1951, at least 51 villagers, including 16 children, were killed when U.S. planes napalmed Sansong, a village 160 kilometers, or 100 miles, southeast of Seoul.

A day later, it said, at least 167 villagers, more than half of them women, were burned to death or asphyxiated in Tanyang, 35 kilometers north of Sansong, when U.S. planes dropped napalm at the entrance of a cave filled with refugees."

I'm not Serb, I've heard Karadzic's name only yesterday, but i was quick to dismiss this news story as farce/joke.

I have another concept of justice. I'm not into political/entertainment/puppet spectacle justice. I don't find such news rejoicing.

Thanks for stating so clearly that you have no idea whatsoever what the fuck you are talking about.

Just a little tip for you: not having an opinion on a matter is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you are utterly, totally and completely clueless about the matter in question. Suspension of judgment until you actually know something about the subject is often a good thing.

:1orglaugh Have you ever served anywhere? Compare apples to apples please, or go pick another a bunch of examples of people being butchered in Africa. But then again, why bash the Africans when you can bring your anti-us propaganda to a forum hosted on US soil. Wtf. If you hate the US so much, leave this forum and I'm sure you'll never be missed.

And the fact that you don't know who Radovan Karadzic is says it all - as a man who actually took part in hunting this fucker and his minions, I'm very happy he's finally being arrested and brought to justice - now the rest of his family and relatives needs to go!

(Russian soldiers) first expelled, temporarily, hundreds of civilians from Alkhan-Yurt, and then began systematically looting and burning the village, killing anyone in their way. Among the dead were: centenarian Nabitst Kornukayeva, and her elderly son Arbi, who were found shot to death in the yard of their looted home; fifty-seven-year-old Khamid Khazuyev, who was shot in the yard of his home when he tried to stop looting soldiers; Akhanpash Dudayev, sixty-five, who was killed in his basement, and his body burned in his looted home; and Taus Sultanov, forty-nine, who was shot in a cellar and left to bleed to death while soldiers robbed other civilians with him of their belongings. The killings went on for more than two weeks, without any apparent attempt by Russian authorities to stop it. Aindi Altimirov, the last to die, was killed and beheaded by Russian soldiers on December 18.
(...)
The looting of Alkhan-Yurt was systematic and organized, involving a large number of soldiers who acted with impunity throughout their stay in the village. Looted goods were stored in the homes occupied by Russian commanders as well as the tents of soldiers, and were transported openly in military vehicles out of Alkhan-Yurt. It is simply impossible that such widespread looting could take place in broad daylight without the knowledge and, at a minimum, the tacit consent of Russian commanders. The looting that took place in Alkhan-Yurt was not an isolated incident of such misconduct by Russian forces in Chechnya: since the beginning of the Chechen conflict, Russian troops have been systematically looting villages and towns under their control, and there is no evidence that the Russian command has taken any steps to prevent it.
Quote:

In the Staropromyslovski executions Russian federal soldiers summarily executed at least 38 confirmed civilians during an apparent spree in Staropromyslovsky city district of Grozny, the Chechen capital, according to survivors and eyewitnesses.

The killings occurred between late December 1999 and mid-January 2000, during the heavy fighting for the city. Most of the 38 victims were women and elderly men, and all appear to have been deliberately shot by Russian soldiers at close range. More than a dozen additional civilians may also have been murdered in the district, while six men from the district who were last seen in Russian custody "disappeared" during this same period and remain unaccounted for.
Quote:

The Russian forces entered the neighborhood after bombarding it with artillery fire and airstrikes, in two waves. The first-line combat troops did not encounter any resistance and did not commit any crimes, but they warned the Chechens that the "cleansing" troops are coming. These troops - special policemen and contract soldiers - began shooting the residents, many of them middle-aged or older, and looting their possessions. At least six incidents of group rape were also reported.

According to the June 2000 report by the Human Rights Watch, some killings were accompanied by demands for money or jewelry, which served as a pretext for execution if the amount proffered was insufficient. According to a survivor, the Russians said they had "orders to kill everyone." Many of the dead in Novy Aldi were children or elderly, and women. Some of survivors were forced to plead for their lives, while some feigned dead.

Russian forces torched many homes in Aldi, and some of the arson seemed to be primitive attempts to destroy evidence of summary executions and other civilian killings. While federal servicemen engaged in some plunder on February 5, pillage on a massive scale took place during the following week, and witnesses stated that soldiers returned in large numbers on February 10, 2000, and "in broad daylight brazenly stripped their homes of goods of value."
That is just the tip of the Chechnya iceberg so to speak.

Personally I agree that the ICC is a fucking joke. That is why the US, Russia and China have not signed on to it........ oh yes my anti-American friends........ it is not just the Americans that are exempt.

Quote:

Russia, like the United States and China, is not a party to the ICC. It has been reluctant to support council intervention on issues like Sudan and Zimbabwe, arguing in favor of a hands-off approach that critics say is tantamount to supporting impunity.

It is funny how the idiots here are able to twist every news story into a piece of anti-American propaganda. Funny how Russia and China never get mentioned when it comes to talking about human rights abuses or disregard for "international law."

I supported the Russian efforts in Chechnya just like I support the US efforts in Iraq. I was just pointing out that this constant talk about "war crimes" can be turned in almost any direction. Of course if you support the cause then all reports of "war crimes" are propaganda. If you do not support the cause then any military mistake or civilian casualty is an ?atrocity?. Of course you already know that because you are a smart guy. You are just attempting to mislead.

Sorry for asking that man, but are you crazy? How can you compare the INTERNAL anti-terrorist war with and a war against some independent country which did nothing wrong???

Q: Has Iraq killed thousands of US citizens?
A: NO!

Q: Have Chechen terrorists killed thousands of Russian civilians?
A: YES!

Q: Has Iraq invaded the USA?
A: NO!

Q: Have Chechen terrorists invaded other Russian regions (Budenovsk, Beslan, Moscow, Dagestan)?
A: YES!

Q: Has the Iraq conducted terrorist attacks to the USA?
A: NO!

Q: Have Chechen terrorists conducted terrorist attacks to other Russian cities?
A: YES!

Q: Has the USA got peace in Iraq?

Q: Has the Putin got peace in Chechnya?

As far as I see, you don't understand what happened there (both wars) and you are just attempting to mislead :2 cents:

Because only American military actions are "war crimes" or "genocide". Everyone else is just engaged in legitimate wars of self defense. Because countries like Russia, China, UK, France and Germany have never been involved in any aggressive military actions. Because the US is the source of all evil while every other military power is just a victim of their evil designs. :Oh crap

For those morons who would like to mirror the situation with Karadzic to WWII.

Here are 2 facts for you:
1) Our days: Karadzic was caught and will be sued by a bunch of mindless puppets.
2) WWII times: Werner Von Brown was not sued and became the respected US citizen. It's impassible to imagine a wost humiliation for the USA that having a bloody Nazi killer in the head of their NATIONAL space program.

ROSTOV-ON-DON, Russia - A local Interior Ministry official says unidentified assailants have shot and killed three police officers in Russia's troubled North Caucasus region of Chechnya.

The official says the bullet-riddled bodies of three officers who had been guarding an Interior Ministry trailer were found on a collective farm early Monday. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not allowed to speak to the media officially.

He says the assailants made off with the officers' guns.

Chechnya has been torn apart by two wars since 1994 pitting separatist rebels against Russian forces.

Major fighting died down years ago and the region is controlled by a Kremlin-backed government, but militant attacks and other violence persist.
