What the fuck is up with Firefox 3?

Damn thing just keeps on crashing! Version 3 is the worst yet. :(

Using SEOQuake, SearchStatus, MeasureIt, ColorZilla, DTA, Roboform and Foxmarks.

Any of you with similar setups having problems?

I'm using SEOQuake, SearchStatus and Roboform on Flock 1.2.4 with no problems whatsoever.

FOr me it crash when I am CLOSING in :D Go figure!

beta-tester 07-21-2008 09:40 AM

you can't call the version 'worst yet' if you have your internal problems!

This version is the best and most stable so far! Check your addons and then complain!

clutch_hicks 07-21-2008 09:40 AM

i've not been having any problems with it.

I've talked to a couple more people on ICQ and they have similar problems to a point where it is unusable, according to them.

ADL Colin 07-21-2008 10:02 AM

ZERO problems for me.

redKommunication 07-21-2008 10:26 AM

Would you guys mind listing what extensions you're using?

XSV 07-21-2008 10:28 AM

No problems with the Mac version, works great.

digifan 07-21-2008 10:32 AM

Why not drop it and install an earlier version?

severe 07-21-2008 10:34 AM

i dont have any plugins outside of firebug crashes constantly.

regarding previous version, well then you just trade crashing for mem leaks...

stickyfingerz 07-21-2008 10:58 AM

Exactly.

Glad to see I'm not the only one.

I've uninstalled some plugins to see if I can isolate the problem and weed it out. We'll see.

Michaelious 07-21-2008 11:12 AM

I'm gotten used to Firefox now!

Penthouse Tony 07-21-2008 11:14 AM

I had problems as well when I first installed. But after I got it working in SafeMode it's fine from then on with only occasional crashes.

tranza 07-21-2008 11:26 AM

Farang 07-21-2008 11:35 AM

FF3 is the best browser ever imo.

INever 07-21-2008 11:43 AM

Acting shit here too. It doesnt like framepages here for some stupid reason and when I try to visit images directly, it wont display it, just says: The image "url here...." cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. Using IE7 right now, not a fan of it, but no issues. Waiting for Mozilla to fix these problems.

Try Flock. It's pretty much the same thing, but stable.
