So we've still been thinking about moving to AZ...
A friend of ours responded with this...

LOL is that for real? Like he says you need to crack the windows open... and it gets around 115-120 in the summer.
|
That's too damn funny.. every single one of those hits too close to home.
When its January, it's easy to laugh at that stuff... When it's July and August.. it just gets painful |
You cant leave its a long drive to The Staples Center from AZ
|
hahaha, thats awesome.

"Yeah, but its a DRY HEAT!"
|
I hope that is a made up story for the sake of Lomita the cat.
|
Funny :thumbsup
|
June/July are the hottest months, End of July and August blow cause the monsoons make it humid :( Bonus is women wear less clothes! :thumbsup
Its a love it or hate it state. :winkwink: |
Each year I hate the heat more and more
|
You could live here in Washington - summer only lasts 5-6 weeks. This is the 10 day forecast.

Maybe winters in phx, summers in wash... |
I head to Bama in 2 weeks for a week followed by another week down in Florida for the show. I think in all that heat/humidity I might melt!

:firehair:firehair:firehair:firehair:firehair:feel s-hot
I have lived in AZ for 15 years. I is fucking hot for 5 months of the year and for the rest of the time it's awsome. shorts year round is a far trade off.:thumbsup |

I wouldn't be able to survive.I'd be a raisin in no time
|
That is a good story and all of that is so true, I live in AZ!
|
Born and raised in AZ ;) And yes it does get that hot in the summer, but you get used to it. if you have AC it's all good, just try to avoid the outdoors as much a possible.
|
Nothing beats OC weather Munki, AZ=Havasu for me.
|
haha that was so funny and true! I had my AC go out but luckily it was in April before it got too hot and yes it did take 2 or 3 trips for the guy before he fixed the AC
|
is it a more bearable hot than florida hot? Just got back from fl it was awful.

in FL it doesn't get as hot but is so humid that you sweat a lot.. here you don't sweat but the sun is more dangerous because you don't sweat and you don't know it's so hot till your sun burnt or dehydrated |
That is some funny shit :)
My family lives out there. I do like the drunk tube thing... from what I can remember :) |
Sounds like my first three months in Costa Rica, only, replace "heat" with "rain". I miss that place. :(
I've got family that lives in AZ, and family that lives in NV. I prefer mountains and trees. Don't move into Phoenix, it's a mess. |
Just move next door to NM. We have all 4 seasons and it does not get near as hot as it does in AZ.
|
Fuck Phoenix.
I loved working for Steve Lightspeed but never again will I live in such an extreme climate. Don't give me this shit "but it's a dry heat". Bull fucking shit. When it's 110 degrees outside, it's 110 degrees out side. Period. I love where I live.... It's July 20t today and it felt like a nice spring day here. Also, while it never gets cold enough to snow here, I like it in the winter when it's a bit "chilly" outside. Puts some color in my cheeks during my early morning runs. |

Arizona could be a problem tho, that I'm afraid is just a little too hot. I'd stay indoors most of the time so long as the AC was ok. :) |
