if you are thinking of doing a tooth implant be prepared to live like a rockstar for at least 10 days - ten days of booz and painkillers

is the pain exrcuciating? fuck no, a woman wouldn't even notice it, but if you're guy you're majorly fucked, I think I drunk 7 bottles of hard liquor in the past 8 days, that's my normal consumption for like 6 months, and that's on top of the shitload of pills I could buy over the counter

the moral of the story - all guys are pussies, there's no exception! we're good at killing thousands in a war or beating the shit out of a dude who looked at us the wrong way in a bar, but enter any hospital and see how women and men take what comes their way, and then and only then you'll find out who's the one with the balls .......... guess what? it's not us

Tooth pain is the worst. Just had to have a wisdom tooth cut of my jaw a few weeks ago. I was actually pretty good with the pain killers they gave me. lol What was worse was the pressure from the wisdom tooth squeezing all my other teeth together. I've felt way better since it got yanked. Really need at least 1 more pulled, and would be best to get all 3 left out. They aren't bugging me right now, so Ill leave them be for now. lol

I have always wanted to see a man spit a baby out of his asshole, but I dont think there is a man alive that would endure the pain.

Out of all my male friends and female friends.. I have to say, the girls hold it together better when it comes to pain.

you should have asked the dentist for the good stuff, instead of taking over the counter pills.. :2 cents

What, no prescription pain killers? I'd sock my dentist in the face. I've been really lucky - never had a cavity (phew).

I can't speak for all women, but I complain a lot from even little things. I do, however, have a very high tolerance for pain in my feet. I went to the podiatrist because my toe kept swelling in my high heels, and he took x-rays and found that it was covered in bone spurs. Apparently, my horse crushed my toe (literally!) when he stepped on it last year. He was amazed that I was able to just bite my lip and bear the pain of high heels in that condition.

He performed a minor outpatient surgery and gave me a bunch of hydrocodone (vicodin) and said to schedule a date for when he could slice my toe open and shave down the spurs. I chucked the pills after a few days when I decided that I didn't need them and went back to wearing high heels. It's been a few months and I haven't done the surgery - mainly because I can't afford to take six weeks off of wearing high heels - it's too important to my business.

In my experience, men can generally take a heavier beating, but some of the heaviest masochists are women. I think men and women are better at handling different types of pain. And it's just a generalization; it varies a lot amongst men and women.

As for myself, I'm generally a wuss when it comes to pain.

i had a abcess awhile ago..... i took myself took ER at 3 am cause i was crying like abitch.... i went oto dentist next day they dosed me up on Oxycotin at the ER

That's why I put my wisdom teeth off for so long! They weren't actually causing direct pain, just a constant ache from squishing the rest of my teeth together. It wasn't until the two got badly impacted that I bit the bullet and got them removed. And I'm SO GLAD I did! Even with the dry socket for three days, it was worth it! I highly recommend getting the others taken out while you're in the mood :)

As for pain, the doc gave me Tylenol3 and told me to alternate with extra strength Ibuprofen. That was great for two days, but didn't even touch the pain of dry socket. Even still, I assumed I was being a pussy and toughed it out for three days before I went to the dentist to get fixed. Once he packed his magic paste into my gaping wound, all the pain was gone and I was fine.

We have experience doing great mental and physical damage to ourselves, and those around us by tolerating our behavior.

I have had three root canals, and one tooth extraction.

None of them was a painful as a typical Monday coming down from the weekend.

Fact: some guys have a rather high pain threshold.

I admit..tooth pain is the worse.I would get the tooth pulled or the nerve rather than go through that throbbing
