A friend of mine who does graphics work for strip clubs wanted to start scouting talent while he visits the clubs, so I print up some simple business cards with my 800 number and an extension number so I could track his leads to pay him. Well, I come to find out a day later the extension number I gave him was one I had assigned another business partner a year ago that owns a small airline to the Bahamas that has a really jealous wife. I had changed the name on the answering message but I forgot to switch the forwarding number that went to his cell phone.
Turns out my new talent scout did really well and the phones started ringing, my pilot buddy's wife answers his cell about 3 times with strippers wanting work.
Oh my fucking lord, needless to say I had a lot of explaining to do.
