Can anyone help point me in the direction of such a list or maybe we could get a list going here ourselves. I'm mainly interested in wordpress based hosts, but if you know any either wordpress based or not please post them here.

Anyone looking for a professionally run bloghost should seriously check out AdultBlogSpace.

We aren't run by one person in his/her basement, and you wont find us plugging our network sites on the net with multiple identities. We don't have to, our products speak for themselves.

I had no idea there were that many. I've been trying to use the SEO benefits of free hosted blogs more and that list just gave me a lot more work to do. :thumbsup

That said, I think some of the free blog hosts you count as "the rest" should definitely be moved up to the "important ones".

I like to plug our own blogshosts 1st ;)

Yes and no, there are only very few free adult blog hosts surviving a long time, seen at least a dozen close shop after a few months, sometimes weeks. So yes, they are a nice addtition for SEO purposes, if they have a decent spammer protection and are run by someone who doesn't start redirecting once the google traffic starts rolling. I just wouldn't invest too much time in them, with a few exceptions like thumblogger and xlogz.

Even after years, some suddenly disappear, like pimpis.com or justwank.com, two pretty early birds.

Thanks for the advice. I've always focused on building high-quality blogs on my own hosting and thought free hosted was a waste of time.

However, I've heard people who know more than me say that free hosted blogs are good for feeder traffic and SEO. I'm definitely not investing the same kind of time/effort into free hosted blogs as my hand-written ones.

Nice find, i'll go through it and try to find any ones that are not listed here. Embarassing to see that I actually posted in that thread too :error I knew I had seen similiar threads before but for the life of me could not find them when I searched. Good work dude!

I think it's important who is behind them as you say. I would like to add iBlogAdult.com to the list of free hosts that are solid... although the service is new it is owned and backed by AdultReviews.net and it doesn't get any more solid then that.

noting whether you can use feeds on them would make this list perfect.
