Rochard's New Toy: Pic Enclosed!

I got bored today....... So I bought me this:

http://www.lightspeedcash.com/rock/moto01.jpg

Not only is my dick bigger than Tanker's, now my motorcycle is faster too.

I'll have pics of my bike on line in the morning!

On-top 10-22-2002 10:22 PM

Sweet. How many CC is it?

Rochard 10-22-2002 10:23 PM

It's a Honda CBRXX1100. Very fast.

PersianKitty 10-22-2002 10:25 PM

Thought that model wasn't available until Xmas. You getting an 02 instead of an 03?

X37375787 10-22-2002 10:25 PM

You should have gotten the Hayabusa. It's faster :winkwink:

redshift 10-22-2002 10:25 PM

Im jealous:winkwink:

NitroPhil 10-22-2002 10:27 PM

All I can say is this bike rocks! Tanker's GSXR, what? Richard is running circles around everything now. Until I get my 2003 CBR 954.

Enjoy it while it lasts Richard.

NitroPhil 10-22-2002 10:30 PM

Oh, the Hayabusa was another option for me, but anything with the word "titanium" in it gets me going. So CBR 954 it is.

jimmy3way 10-22-2002 10:36 PM

I'd like to apply for the soon to be open job as director of operations at Lightspeed....

NitroPhil 10-22-2002 10:36 PM

I hate to throw a vote right in the middle of Richard's glory night but let's do it. Who like's Richard's bike (above)? And who'd go for the one my eyes are on...

Some guy at the Uni I go to has a 954, it's no RVF, but it's bloody cool.

NitroPhil 10-22-2002 10:44 PM

Thanks Pipecrew. My middle age crisis came with a POS mazda miata and an imaginary monkey named Spooge.

Que 10-22-2002 10:46 PM

I am so very jealous!

I have only one word, Ducati :)

RVT rather...or RC-51 or what the fuckever.

http://www.hondamotorcycles.com/asse...1_large_01.jpg

There are few things that sound like a 1 liter twin on full cam, I'll tell you what.

I agree. Yet 954 = 1 liter also and mine has a cooler paint job.

Swish, nothing but net!

Phil - The 954 is a hot item and truthfully between the two I'd be hard pressed to choose, but I have a special place in my hear for twins.

GTS Mark 10-22-2002 11:46 PM

Nice bike Roc, I am glad that we got you away from those god awful cruisers and onto a real bike :winkwink:

DH

Rochard 10-22-2002 11:52 PM

I just got tired of Steve and Tanker being able to pull away from me while doing 120mph....

jimmy3way 10-23-2002 12:06 AM

Dude, you have the weirdest taste in bikes, but I say...play on player.

You know you could have called me and asked, I'm here for you man, anytime.

HD is just a constructor... they were going nowhere until a japanese company bought them a couple of year ago. I prefer custom bikes - They have no limits ;-)

NacnudEsor 10-23-2002 07:53 AM

Nice little bike.....but real men only ride Harley's!

Rochard 10-23-2002 08:23 AM

I couldn't agree more :)

This is my bike, except I've added many different things (forward controls, more chrome, different pegs, seat, sissy bar, grips, etc....

RAM 10-23-2002 10:04 AM

I see Roc has the need for speed.
Nice looking Machine.
But I still like my old Harley best.

Hey...nice shovel. I like the S&S carb and ape hangers, although I'm not a big fan of mag wheels. :)

Now...this morning I rode to the office on my bike. Temp was 45 degrees and it was drizzling, plus I live 45 minutes from the office and the office is in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Have to take the interstate for about 25 miles to get there.

How many of you would have made that ride? :Graucho

Rochard 10-23-2002 10:22 AM

First offical picture of the new bike in the backyard of the Lightspeed Studio.....

Dawgy 10-23-2002 10:25 AM

what rochard doenst know is that im shooting a gay orgy on his bike later this afternoon. :)

NacnudEsor 10-23-2002 10:30 AM

"You mean "really old men", right?

Hehe....actually if you look up the demographics for Harley-Davidson you will be surprised what age groups are buying them. If you have ever been to I can't diasgree with your thoughts that "kids" dont have too many Harleys, however. many cannot afford the $25,000 per or the custom paint jobs (I know of some at $20,000 per).

Your bike is really sharp, just not my personal style. I prefer the "Classic Look and Feel " that has made the "open road" a unique American experience. The experience is different based on which style of bike you ride. Your bike is a true "crotch rocket" built for speed and flash.....diff style than a Harley which is a true "Road Warrior". If you want to see what I am talking about...check out the movie Easy Rider...it has been the standard from which Harley has been measured for many years....and I am not an "old geezer", either!

There is a place for both styles.....I hope you have lots of fun with your new one! Nothing beats the ride on a bike, and nothing is more confining than driving a car.

Until recently I made that ride every day on my 1995 Suzuki VS800 Intruder. 1 hour drive each way. The wild monsoons in Arizona make for an interresting commute. I drool over a nice crotch rocket yet nothing beats a good cruiser.

I lived in Tucson AZ for about 20 years (Go Wildcats) and I do know about the monsoons. Got caught in them more than I care to say :)

One thing I liked about AZ is NO helmet laws...

Looks more like a 1200cc than the old 2001 1100cc.. are you SURE its not the 1200 cc you got?
I think their brakesystem are for pussys - when I go round a gorner, I want to use the fodbrake as a stearing option, but you cant on that mashine, because its connectet to the front brakes as well... but nice bike for powertouring :winkwink:
