Please, switch to Skype
 

Im thinking to say ICQ saionara, thats why I wanna ask those who have me in icq switch into skype. My Skype is adultmix

Good luck on that. ICQ is here to stay like it or not. If you must go your route I would just suggest some multi bundle package.

I have all three. Aim ICQ and skype. and and icq are in trillian. been having lots of trouble with both. Skype is damn good, and has the phone option as well as being encrypted.

And why don't you like ICQ? To be honest ... ICQ client is even worse then fucked up Skype. But there are many 3rd party clients that can roll the protocol with no problem. I use www.qip.ru. It pwnz!

I still love my icq, but found Pidgin to work just fine with everygoshdarned thing :)

i run qip for icq too, it jsut got so oversaturated with 500+ contacts, i want fresh new, I like googlr talk design... may be i should just redo a QIP skin to be like google talk..

skype is the way to go, but icq seems to be the standard since it's been around forever

ICQ can be a pain in the ass some times. I am pushing more people to contact me on AIM

Are you guys talking about the phone options vs icq and skype? I haven't ever used icq phone, and skype doesn't work for crap here, so I use Vonage which has worked wonders for 5+ years now.

IM wise, ICQ owns - you guys just need to stop upgrading the thing and stick with ICQ 2000b. It's fast and stable as hell. I have been using ICQ since it was a corporate beta program, before public release, I love it.

AIM is a nightmare for security on your PC, best have a firewall all I have to say.
