I been messing around with custom fields, and querying posts.

Curious who else out there has.

Joomla is the best

drupal and xoops too

It's quite a good cms in its own right. You need to just use pages rather than posts, and grab a page management plugin like flexipages.

I use it for a review site but I'll soon be replacing that with something custom.

I don't use WP, you know the other one I use I have it running a tgp for me atm, I am also in process of doing a Multi-Cat site and Review site...
