To submit or not to submit
So, I'm wondering which way to go is best. Does automated gallery submissions generate that much traffic these days? At least good converting traffic?
Should I bother having a marketer doing automated submitting for my sites to all the TGPs, or just focus on building FHG's and let the webmasters/affiliates cover the submitting. |
I would focus on both. Give the automated submissions a try and see if they work for your sites/content.

to achieve best answers try both

I'll be willing to do the auto submission :thumbsup

I have affiliates that submit my galleries but I also submit them myself. Havn't had alot of luck with automated submitting because the programs that submit for you normally do not submit to high traffic sites. I manually submit my galleries and I typically stick to submitting to the high traffic sites and they always get listed. Paid submissions as well as alot of free submissions.

:2 cents: : submitting galleries only works well if the person who is submitting has heavy interest in the success. I was working for companies who burned lot of money on submitter guys and worthless partner accounts.
If I were you I would focus much more on everything else, and wold pass in-the-house submitting. I am a full time gallery submitter, hit me up if you have any other questions, I will answer happily.:pimp |
Never dismiss gallery submissions ...

I'd recommend both. As a program owner how can you expect to build galleries and educate potential newcomers to your prorgam on how to best promote your program without knowing how to do it yourself.
Submissions are easy to do, of course the manual gold you find with experience will render best. But at first i'd just do autosubmissions and make sure to leverage the traffic you get. Everyone will say its poor converting, and they can be right - however! If you have popups or other sites to cater to the niche that customer wants then you could win. As a paysite owner you could have the pages directed to a splash page to funnel this person to a specific niche to increase conversion. E.g. amateur gallery to splash page, then offer every kind of site possible to see what he wants with amateur being a focus. Splash pages can contain links to link lists, autoranks, linkex, your own sites, other sites, anything to get income :D |
