I'm Bringing The Braids Back
 

Yrs ago when I first started coming to conventions and other industry events I had a long goatee that I kept braided in anywhere from 2 to 6 braids. While nothing way over the top or overly wild, it did help me to stick out in peoples minds that I first met and talked with or even just people who saw me. As far as self branding went, the braids definitely helped.

A few yrs back I shaved them off and kept a neatly trimmed goatee since then. At the time, while I did this partially for a girl, I also did it thinking it might help me to have a more professional look. I guess that's what I get for thinking. I now know that my work speaks louder for me then any picture ever will and that's now what I choose to let speak for me.

The braids are coming back, been about a month now and I expect them to be fully ready to be braided by the end of August. Here a few pics from the past.

Or you can just rent out the shirt real estate, I hear that is a hot commodity. Though your name and a big ass arrow pointing up may really stand out.

Oh wait... You need to invest in multi color pastel shirts.

lol. braids will help you stand out. not sure what the fashion is out there, but in Sydney I haven't seen a goatee for 5 years unless I'm out bush.
