well.... hello!? why do you think Bush is announcing opening up offshore drilling? it has less to do with oil supply than it does fucking with speculators to drive the price back down

Nothing Much? Oil was down $7/barrel at the end of the day which is the biggest one day drop in 17 years.

exactly - while offshore drilling may never come to fruition the possibility of it will bring the price of oil down.
