Xbox live - the online shit - anyone got it?
 

Just got it yesterday (beta version). Not many games yet, but the voice shit kicks ass.

Anyone got it? Anyone down for some gamin?

You can speak with/listen to other people playing online. Just like the pc has been doing for years. There are 2 proggies you can DL for your PC:

Battlecom and Roger Wilco. They will let you chat with people via your mic/speakers.. Its meant for gaming but works great for out of game conversations and even tech support.

Ya. I got on the second wave of the beta test program for XBOX LIVE..

The voice stuff is kinda crappy.. cuts in and out..

only 4 games to beta test.. a football game that I could not care less about.

and 2 race games (one bike and one remote controlled car) again pretty boring for me

and the third is a game called whacked which is pretty silly..

so nothing exciting to play online yet...

I am a beta tester since September and I played 2-3 times. The games are very boring.

I was expecting more from the games. The service is good, a bit of lag, but it's good.

As for the voice, it's pretty cheap and very hard to understand people. Especially when they are masking voice. Also, for the future team based games, it's going to be a mess..
