If one in five adult in the United States have herpes, I'm assuming all pornstars/content girls must have it! I mean if the average pornstar/content girls do a dozen unprotected scenes a month, then it is almost a certainty she already has herpes, Am I right?

I definitely don't believe that "one out of five people" statistic. I think that's just a scare tactic.

Even so, just the numbers of partners they have that the average person will never even come close to brings the odds for them to have/catch it higher than the general population.

I agree, it seems ludicrous that genital herpes would be so widespread. The only way I could fathom this statistic is it if it were inclusive of all kinds of herpes.

Yes, all female and male pornstars have either genital herpes or genital warts. It's so common, they don't even consider it a disease.

The stats for oral herpes are even higher. (If you ever had a cold sore, you got herpes). I might be stating the obvious but a lot of people don't know that, I didn't know until a few years ago that cold sores were herpes. :helpme

I don't believe everything the CDC says is "the gospel". I think they err just like every other government agency. I think most of their stats are accurate, but this is one I'm pretty sure is off at least to some degree.

Herpes and HPV you can pretty much count on if you are in the industry. And for everyone who says, "I've never caught anything" while defending how safe the industry is, has never had an outbreak or is full of shit. One or the other.

You can carry both the herpes (I & II) and HPV virus and never show a single symptom.

And why doesn't the industry test for Hepatitis B and C? Hep kills more people than HIV every year, yet our industry does not have mandatory testing for it. In fact, nobody even talks about it.

Most people get oral herpes as a child. You ever get a sore on your lip? That is herpes. A "cold sore" is a nice way of saying it because people like you don't want to hear that everyone has herpes.

Condoms don't protect you for Herpes or HPV. So why wouldn't something like that spread like a wild fire?

Truth be told, and I speak from vast experience, most "normal" girls will bareback a guy with no questions asked. While the majority hookers use condoms, no exceptions. The handful of times I've been burned by drippy dick, it's ALWAYS been with normal chicks. Go figure.

Well I know 3 girls I went to highschool with who are in porn now and I know for a fact they have herpes because they gave it to my friends as well as other things. I also have seen them fuck guys without condoms. One of the girls I know I actually talk to her everyonce in a while and she said they just test for hiv. But hiv is a slowly propigating disease so even if you are tested you can still have traces of the virus growing inside of you. I am pretty sure most pornstars do not live long lives.

Herpes fucking sucks. I get one that pops up now and then on my lip. Looks like I got popped in the face for talking drunk shit to the wrong guy for a week or so. Thankfully I don't have the type you get on your junk..

I saw that shit the other day, too! I went to the beach with my family for over a week and there were about 30 of us in the house. Some of my cousins and I were sitting around a coffee table on the floor playing cards with the TV on, and I heard that in the background and freaked out.
