So my apt complex jacks the stuff in my garage!!
 

I rent this apartment from this pretty large size complex (professionally managed and all that jazz). So tonight, around 9 I go to put some boxes and old speakers into my garage before I go out. I go around the corner and see someones door open and I think "sucks to who ever left their door open..." as i get closer, i find its MINE!

even better... the garage is EMPTY, everything gone, door open, nothing in there :mad:

my first reaction is i got jacked for my stuff, but the only way is someone had to pick the lock. the door is kinda fucked up and if you dont lock it, it will open right up, so i know for a fact it was closed. i asked a neighbor that has a clear view of the garage and she said it was closed this morning and open tonight, but thought it was strange.

so anyway, i call the cops, say my garage got robbed (had a few things, bike, speakers, boxes of stuff, old school NES and SNES, games, etc), also left a message for the maintenance emergency line. maintenance guy calls back and says they just cleaned it out today because the head person at the office said that person moved out. best part... he goes "i think we put it in another storage place, but ill try and find out for you tomorrow"

WOW! seriously, WTF? i pay monthly for this garage and they just decide to take the stuff out and "maybe" still have it. Head maintenance guy calls me back (and is rude as shit) a bit later and says it was a mistake, they had the wrong garage but will call me tomorrow. i better get at least a free month of rent from this shit

That fucking sucks man. And you know when you go and complain they aren't gonna give a shit. Customer service is non-existent in CA from what I've seen :2 cents:

true true, but i just moved to PA (hershey area) and forgot to change my info on GFY. after i told the one maintenance guy that i already called the cops for reporting theft, his tone changed a bit, and sounded a bit more scared.

i dont know if i have a fighting case for anything but im still pretty heated about it

This is why I don't live in an apartment...

one good thing is they pay the water bill here. i care about the environment, or id turn on all the faucets and just let them run. so if anyone wants some free water, hit me up! :1orglaugh

Well I am originally from MD so I change my statement. That does suck and I'm sorry it happened to you but the East Coast is pretty cool on the whole CS thing so you definitely stand a better chance then if it happened in CA :winkwink:
