Let me guess. You live on the West coast.

Penrod 10-22-2002 10:21 AM

He is not right??

ChrisH 10-22-2002 10:25 AM

Sometimes Oreilly can be a jerk.

Most of the time he's right on target.

ColKurtz 10-22-2002 10:27 AM

I like oreilly and fox news in general. They tackle a lot of issues that other news outlets just won't touch.

I watched the episode in question and he was right on.

I think that comment was in regards to some stupid lady pschologist who told her daughter, that goes to university in washington dc, to wear a bullet proof vest and a helmet when she goes outside.

I grew up in the mid west and moved to california at age 19. Theres good and bad people everywhere, but I don't think there is a bigger collection of low character, fake, disrespectful, people than you will find in southern california.

I watch his show every day. I don't like him and I do not agree with most of his view points and that is part of why I watch him. What I don't have any real understanding of, is why do people agree to appear on his show? For the most part he will not allow them to present their points of view, as he will talk over them and pontificate about his views, or ridicule his guest. If they insist on trying to get their point of view across by talking over him he will have their microphone cut off. I have seen this happen multiple times.

fox news is "spicy chicken tacos"
cnn is "boiled chicken"
if you don't like o'reilly then watch oprah

If you're a conservative moron, yes.

He's as predictable as as a rooster cocking in the morning. If its war - he wants it. If its abortion - he is against it. If its the economy - he has no clue.

I do like fox news however - Nick Cavuto comes to mind.

jas1552 10-22-2002 10:49 AM

His opinions are ususally common sense. To a liberal I suppose that could sound conservative.
Once he asks a question he does let the guest answer it, but if the guest tries to change the subject or dance around the issue like a weasly politician he calls em on it. He does that with democrats and republicans.

I like him, and I'm no Conservitive. But then again I'm no liberal jerkoff either. I'd think the liberals would have more of a problem with him then anyone else.

Cavuto's a good show, but his head is so damn big. LOL :1orglaugh

btw.... it's Neil. Not Nick. You should pay more attention!!

I have to agree with you on this one. :thumbsup

Oreilly Factor is a good show. Bills on taget 90% of the time.. oh and california people are a bit fucked compared to east coast people. They are too phoney. Sorry guys but Im from the east coast and I live in Cali. I definatly can see the difference. East cost people are abrupt and rude but at least they are real. california people will smile at you then cut you down when you walk away. East coast people will just tell you to Fuck off in the first place.

eru 10-22-2002 12:03 PM

That show kicks ass -- I hope they bring back the Pulse to network... the last time I saw Oreilly was in Augest b/c I get no cable here! This blows! I can't stand local news.

Yep, same story here. Anyone who thinks the majority of Californians don't have issues, are obviously Californians. Californians are definitely unique...

Sly_RJ 10-22-2002 12:22 PM

I've been fucked over more times in one year by Californians than I have been spending 18 years in the mid-west.
