Something to think about with this sniper issue
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, an average of 28 people are killed by guns every day.
So why does this sniper get so much media attention? My answer would be that it's a good story. The kind of story that movies get made about. It's a story with drama + suspense + horror. |
Ummm...
My guess is because the same person is doing all the killing. Same reason the media covers serial killers. :winkwink: |
guess not many ppl get shot doing day to day things like filling the car up... bet a lot of ppl who get shot are involved with the shooter is same way.... or the work at a 7-11

I don't really think this is about statistics. It has a town in fear and that is where the story is.

3000 people dead, so what? In the 15-24yo age group over 10x that number of people died last year in the US, preventable causes accounting for many of them. "One death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic." - J. Stalin |
