Anyone using VMWare Fusion on their MAC?
My Mac Book Pro and VMWare Fusion will arrive tomorrow morning/afternoon and I'm wondering if there are any others that are running that setup? More specifically is anyone running Chameleon Submitter, Chameleon Confirmer etc through the virtual machine / Fusion?
I am hoping I will be able export/import some of my old ftp settings etc but I really doubt that is going to work. Time to hunt down passwords it looks like. Adium X for IM it sounds like TransMit for FTP What programs are good for CDR/DVD burning on a mac? Is their a program similar to winzip/winrar for all the file extensions when I download programs? |
Yes, VMWare is awesome. Although dual monitor doesn't work in unity mode. I hear it's fixed in the latest version though.
Toast is used for burning discs. You can do it through the OS but it sucks. Zips are handled by the OS. Rar just google it and download whatever you find. I forget what I'm using. I think it's unrar or something. |
