Are there really people who spend all day "working"?
 

I probably do 1 hour of work a day, the rest is spent surfing the net, working on side projects, ICQ, friends, etc.

side projects dont count?

10 hours of a combination of work, surfing, eating, tv and working out!

Sig whoring is a 24/7 thing.

a few hours a week.. the rest of the time also surfing, chatting, side projects.

I work 8-10 hours a day at the moment. I'm blasting out a lot of new projects though. Gonna chill out once it's all done.

I spend 4-5 days per week in front of the comp for about 12-14 hours. Of which, about maybe 8 is spent working.

It depends on what you define as work.

Ones you work remote, your more into this then just going to a office and leaving your stress behind. There is no line between work and normal life anymore here.

1 thing is for sure, I don't work nearly as much as I should!

i work all day at a liesurely pace... Me + free time usually = Trouble:thumbsup

i thoroughly enjoy what i do for a living, so considering that... I "play" 50 hours a week or better.

always multitasking, have 10 windows on the go all the time pissing around with one thing or another

have to drag myself away for an hour every couple days to go to the gym

That's a relative term. If they do it's not very focused most likely.

I probably spend about 10-12 hrs a day in front of the computer, working about 8 of those hours.

Even when it comes to doing something fun, alot of work needs to be done before having the fun.

Yes. My work is such that it ebbs and flows, but when I get busy, I can stay busy for weeks with no days off. In theory, I love working for myself, but sometimes I miss working for someone else - my boss is a bitch! :winkwink:

Loving what I do for a living sounds nice, but it can be a mixed blessing.

My work is so entwined in my personal life, it's hard for me to decide what is work and what is play. I go to fetish events around the country and around the world, and, although I hardly ever plan anything, I usually end up getting busy with things... modeling for friends that are designers or photographers, doing event photography for a friend's magazine, etc. I find that everyone around me thinks I am constantly on vacation, and I run around thinking, "God, I need a break - must get sleep, must turn off cell phone."

In less than two days, I am taking my first non-work related trip of the year... going to the Bahamas for a week! :pimp

Of course, I'll probably bring my laptop... pffft! >_<

Yup, yup...

Even my hobbies (hobbies!) are a lot of work...

Scuba diving - gotta set up the trip, get up early, gear up, etc.
Horseback riding - fuck, don't get me started; horses are a lot of work!

And the latest thing to draw my interest: skydiving... let me guess... that's a lot of work?

I work every day. Hard. I get calls from people, special content, and I do it. Then, at night, I listen for the sounds of MSN, ICQ, or Yahoo, and I talk with my clients. I have my cell on 24 7. Sleep? What is that? Then I have to put up with the personal problems that this line of work implies... Sorry about the rant... My GF just got on my ass, and said the same thing... Yes, 8 - 10 hours a day. But everyday is a vacation.

from the time I wake up until 10PM (I take quick lunch + 1 hour exercise) - 95&#37; of that time is work, damn so much different from a few years ago when I was doing yahho groups and making a few k a month with 1 hour daily work

Japanese are crazy, they don't know their limits. They also have multiple deaths because of excessive gaming. He probably worked for months with only a couple hours of sleep every week.

At least 8 hours over here...
