It was the girl sadly. Guess he is better off with the college senior in lieu of the senior for promo and futures?!

Yeah she's a baby compared to petrozza. Isn't he like 45? She about 20? Christina will be around a while to swear at the kitchen staff.
|
petrozza should of had dat shit.. christina is a kid, she will suck for a while i believe..
|
Bullshit. She had a plate return that she didnt even know the food was cold. Petrozzi caught that shit in his kitchen. He also never made mistakes and had much more difficult dishes on service. Shit was rigged for sure. Then he said he picked her for her potential because he knew she lost the actual competition. Fucking GAAAAY!

both finalist far exceeded his ability to make good food... he cooked and had heart... but he wasnt a good chef... i dont think in the whole competition that he got a compliment on one of HIS dishes... it takes more than will to be a good chef... |

If you felt the need to make a thread you could have made it without saying who the winner is in the topic. |

Chick was a good pick... The guy would have been too much about doing it one way only.
|
yeah thanks now I dont need to watch it *sigh*

forr fucks sake, I really wanted petrozza to win.

Christina was the top choice. I personally thoguth lou ross had it. but 1 bad service owned him. If it wasn;t for bobby petrossa would have closed shop. WHo doesn;t prep enough food for the most important service of your career.
Good on her |
Interesting how it all went down. I got the feeling that he knew more than her but they decided to go for youth. I'm sure she will be groomed for a bit before becoming the head chef anywhere though. she is fresh out of school, how is she going to gain the respect of the staff?

During all of the dinner services, they hardly ever show Petroza. Go back and watch the episodes, you will hardly ever see him.
I think that Chef Ramsey wants a good cook that he can mold. Petroza is 47 and runs a catering company, so he already has a specific way of cooking. That isn't going to change, and Chef Ramsey is only going to get about 13 years out of him, then he is 60 and has to retire. Plus he screwed up because they ran out of ingredients for two appetizers. But Christina is 25 or something and she is still learning. She can make good food if she takes her time, but she screws up when she has to make lots of dishes under pressure. So she has lots of potential and Chef Ramsey can mold her to cook the way he wants her to. And she has good attention to detail - she noticed that there was the wrong herb in the mashed potatoes, and she re-created Chef Ramsey's dish during the challenge. And she won other challenges. Making more complicated dishes doesn't necessarily make you a better chef, especially since neither Petroza nor Christina were doing any actual cooking during the dinner service. Even if Chef Ramsey made the wrong decision, his cognitive dissonance will force him to convince himself that he did good picking Christina. |
I hate all of you, I haven't watched it yet. You all suck :(

Petrozza should have won , he did better. But I did say at the start of the show to the person who was watching it with me " I wonder if Petrozza's bad organization skills will cost him in the long run". And I'll be damned, I was right! I think Petrozza was a better all around cook but he lacked organization skills and I think Chef Ramsay worried about being able to change old habits in someone Petrozza's age. Christina was 25 and he can teach her. Petrozza just had some bad habits that would cost Chef Ramsay's business in the long run I think. BUTTTTTT I do think Petrozza might have been able to pull together his organization skills in order to keep a great high paying job with Chef Ramsay. But Chef Ramsay didn't want to take that risk. No doubt that was it. I really hope Petrozza goes far and has much more success even though he lost. I do wish the best for Christina too, she is a talented girl and she will probably do well but I still wish Petrozza would have won. Oh well.
And as far as Bobby goes, he should have been in the final 3 or 4! Especially Jen didn't deserve to stay as long as she did and neither did Matt. Those two had terrible attitudes. Oh well, I hope Bobby goes on to have huge success too. |
