Could also be a crime of passion, happens all the time. Families fight, and sometimes go too far, only to regret it immediately after. Adrenaline is a crazy thing. Just because he's a muslim doesn't mean it was an honor killing. If it was an honor killing the father wouldn't think he did anything wrong.

Maybe these guys twist Islam like people twist Christianity. Also what about Christians that don't take sick kids to the doctors because they believe prayer will heal their kids? what about parents that have killed in thier trying to perform exorcism because they thought their kids were possessed? Also there are 1000's of kids in America abused everyday because some idiots literally believe in "spare the rod, spoil the child"

jus like christians many muslims don take kids to hospitals. in the case of christians this is very rare. how many christians do u know who would not give proper treatments to their kids because of his religion.

however, these types of honour killings in islamic societies are not rare at all. if u were from an islamic country then you would know so many cases of these types of religious crazyness. trust me wit this, i was born and raised as a muslim. i know this.

This family had a daughter that was 11 years old and got diabetes. The mother and father decided to pray instead of take her to a doctor and she died. To me there is no difference between this and the guy that killed his daughter because she didn't want to be married. Both kids died for religous beliefs.

By the way I would estimate that 95% of these people believe in the God of the Christian Bible, and believe that Jesus is the son of God. So by default they are Christians.
