I know this must be a stupid question but I honestly dont know

can women get pregnant while having their period?

You have to give us the scenario. Is she on birth control, did you use a condom and did it tear? What? But the simple answer like amanda said is women can get pregnant at anytime. They have a philosophy and all this bullshit software for ovulation, but we can get pregnant at anytime.

Ooops I forgot to add, it's riskier at having sex during menstruation. There are STD's like Puremeds said and also there is risk of the woman contracting a bacterial infection because when we bleed during the month we are more apt to get infections. So be careful either way. I say abstain until she's done bleeding.

14 to 20 days after start of menstration is when the eggs USUALLY drop. I know I am earlier .. LOL

the scenario is my gf likes to have sex when she is on her period, but honestly I am not into the blood. We had a big talk and she said alot of guys like it, and the best thing was if a woman is already pregnant she cant get pregnant again and the same thing if she is on her period. Sounded good at the time but now I am doubting her....
