It always amazes me that in this day and age some sponsors still won't give affiliates access to the members area.

Just took my business elsewhere.

Not a "well, send some traffic and we'll talk after" or anything like that. Just a plain and simple: we don't give user/pass out.

Took me 15 minutes to open an account on a competitor of this affiliate program, contact a rep, and get a user/pass to their members area.

Really amazes me.

There are plenty of programs that will give you what you need, basically without question. You have plenty of places to go.

Grab me anytime and I will get you members access to any of our programs.

I don't have a program,. a site, or anything... but I'll send ya pic if ya email me :) -bmb

i remember working with people.. not as an affiliate.. but as some sort of partnership i guess you could say... they had my content in their members area... cross selling my site... and wouldnt give me access to see how they promoted it...

if anything i got "we'll give you 5 minutes to look and then the pass is shut off"

needless to say... that was the end of that...

Hmmm, I have always thoght that affiliates sell better if the know exactly what they are selling. I would not myself be comfortable selling something I have not seen.

The best people who run programs are also affiliates and webmasters. We know what it takes to promote people.

Some complain because of no members area access.

Others complain because you give it and your content is "over saturated".

Others are just a surfers who wants an access to watch it for free.

And there are others who wants an access to steal the content and promote others with it.

I saw them all.

Asking someone to send some traffic first is nothing bad. Or give it without that if you know that person. Otherwise how do you know if this guy didnt steal it and posted it on torrent sites ? :) just my 2 cents.

whether or not you give a BONAFIDE webmaster an access or not your content is going to be everywhere. Just how it is. Its easier than ever now a days for people to pilfer you. If a webmaster is going to fuck you, they're going to fuck you. When you catch them you burn them at the stake on the boards and terminate them if you can prove they in fact stole your content and are promoting others. Not everyone gets a pass. Tranza is however a bonafied, verified webmaster who I have gotten joins from in the past on RageCash. Should be no one around who shouldn't let him do his thing.

I remember starting a thread earlier this year to compile my own little password database on my PC here. Had over 100 responses, and Ice was the first to send me a pass.

Then some clueless bitch comes into the thread and seriously believes I'm surfer just trying to get free porn, and continues to go on about it.. ;P

There are still some programs who have refused though, they obviously have something to hide.. I believe Maximum Cash or Max Cash was one of these..

that should let you know that their members area is total crap

Ive had a few sponsors give them with no problem, then a few that said no way.

seems like the ones that were more niche gave the biggest problems, which is the ones that i wanted to promote a bit more

good point, that your never going to be able to make everyone happy.

if i dont send a sponsor a few sales i dont expect them to offer me some kind of special treatment, but at the same time if i have a 1:5000 ratio while i have under 1:500 with the rest of my sites and im asking for help and got nothing, then id be a little heated

as you said ... Tranza is verified webmaster ... you know him from RageCash ... others from other programs ... and others from GFY :)

This is very complicated ... on the one side you have an affiliate who gives you sales ... on other a surfer saying ... "why should i pay 30$ if i can see it for free there and there"

I've never had a problem letting affiliates inside... all around better for business imho...

any affiliate that's been verified is encouraged to get member's access to our sites. helps them understand what theyre promoting. besides its less work for me if they take what they need from the members area lol

I never understood that either - many years ago, if you wanted access you had to pay for it. Nowadays there are plenty of people willing to give it to you.

People here trust you tranza because through and through, you've shown to be 'just' in your promotions. If they have a problem giving it to you, then you did a good thing by moving along.

I wouldn't have a problem giving a seasoned webmaster that I knew would make sales access, but I would have problem with some random guy that I don't know and little or no traffic has come in.

Some just ask for access without even writing why they need it, what sites they run and if they plan on doing some promos with the content. People are different, but some need to think before asking. Heck, there are people icq'ing me to get access and have nada info in their profiles and don't write squat about who they are.

Yeah, sponsors that give me member access, get more traffic. Plain and simple. However, I hate when I ask for a user/pass, and the sponsor gives me a user/pass which expires. One time a sponsor gave me a user/pass which actually expired 3 days later. LAME! Member access for webmasters should be permanent as long as the webmaster is not burning gigs of bandwidth everyday and sends traffic/sales consistently.
