VPS or Dedicated Server NEEDED.
 

Hello, I'm starting to grow my network and my current host have a limited capacity of 2000GB bandwidth for either VPS or dedicated server. I'm looking for a low cost affordable, but live 24/7 tech support VPS right now that allow large bandwidth or unlimited bandwidth. Can anyone recommend any company? I will also looks at dedicated server too if it is fully managed and comes with WHM/Cpanel.

I've checked out webair, mojohost, yellowfiber.... any others you guys can recommend?

First of all there truly is no such thing as Unlimited, there is always a catch somewhere and that would be like thinking you are going to get unlimited gas for your car, its just not going to happen.

Secondly when you say fully managed are you looking for a server where a system administrator is constantly on your box like a webmaster would normally be or rather for a semi-managed environment where you just submit a request when you want assistance and support jumps into help?

Can someone explains to me if unmetered really is unmetered? I saw some hosting company offering unmetered 10mbps bandwidth, but isn't that really metered as 10mbps is really about 3000GB of bandwidth per month.

So tell me if I'm wrong, a dedicated 10mbps means that the 3,000GB of bandwidth per month is for you only, whereas in unmetered 10mbps it means that all user who share that bandwidth the maximum bandwidth per month shared by all user is 3000GB? So if there are 2 user currently sharing the unmetered 10mpbs and if each is using 1200GB/month than I can only have 800GB per month of bandwidth max?

That is right. But you will probably not be using that 3000 gb because of the peaks and valley in your traffic. A reasonable expectaton would be 2200-2500 gb/month.
If your traffic uses at some time more then the 10 mbps connection, those surfers will receive slow responses( queue) or get denied access to your server

No, unmetered dedicated 10 mbps is yours only. Nobody else uses your connection.
