FIREFOX Users if you're sick of images being resized, READ

1 Enter about:config in Firefox address bar.
2 Enter browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing in Filter field.
3 You will get a single result in the bottom pane. Double click it to change to value to false
4 You?re done! Enjoy large images without FF disturb now

Fuck that was irritating me.

I hate it on my big screen when I can see jagged edges on the human form if you get my drift :)

No probs mate.

I've just discovered my fix only lasts about 5 seconds and then it reverts. Trying to find a permanent fix now.

There's lots of things in there like max connections you can play around with to make browsing extremely fast (even on an already good connection), but I don't want to be responsible for fucking up anyone's machine :winkwink:

Well, it doesn't work in Firefox 3 as a permanent fix - and despite what they say:

Now here is an oddity, the about:config page on Mozilla?s site claims that this is still a user specifiable option by going to ?Tools → Options → Advanced → Multimedia → Resize large images to fit in the browser window?. Well, I don?t know what build/version of Firefox they are using, but there is no ?Multimedia? section in any of the past, current or future (3.0) builds/versions of Firefox.
Oh well, it's a hell of a lot better than IE.
