What price for exclusive content?
 

We produce our own content with french models for our own websites. Since we have received several asks from US webmasters to sell it, we would like to have your opinions on the "right price" for exclu contents!

We produce in many categories, I mean soft/solo/toy/couple/group etc... In photos and vidéos.

So, for you what could be a good price?

It is not that simple. Is your work "amateur" in all aspects except the model is doing it for money, or is it Playboy shot to perfection?

Solo girl can be from $250 set and video to $2500 for a set and a video, it can go higher or lower in some circumstances. This is the same for everything up to hardcore.

Barely Legal just offered us $2,000 for a non exclusive rights on a solo girl set. With the sales from the UK, EU, Net and the video it will clear the $2500 I quoted easily. We will also shoot the same girl for sponsors for $400 a scene, set and video. After we have sold her to all the magazines. :winkwink:

Content is like traffic, how much is a hit worth? From a CJ site or a review site.

So show some samples and you will get the reply you need.

Another question: do you think it is better to introcude models in 'raw casting shooting' (here for example) before shooting for a real set or only show finished sets in order to sale it?

I'm going to try and be as constructive as possible and not my usual self. Had a few glasses of red wine for lunch. :winkwink:

Today anyone can afford a decent digital camera, stills or videos.
Most have a computer to check the exposure and focus.
Getting an average-pretty girl to sit open legged in front of a camera has never been easier.
The market is saturated with this kind of work.
Tube sites are full of "average" porn.

Now go away and think about what you can shoot that will make a guy sit up and take notice.

What can you do on the photography side to make your content stand out, like Dean Capture. What can you do on the porn side to make your porn stand out, like Ben Dover. OK I like his stuff.

What can you do to make your porn look better than the other 100 guys shooting today?

If the answer is the stuff you put into the other thread you're going to struggle.

Oki, Paul. I well understood.

In fact, i see at least 2 levels in porn-art. The best one (photographers you mentioned) and others... A good question is: am I able to find a place between these extremes?

It can be either, it depends what the scene is. Porn is like traffic, some is gold dust and some is shite.

Is it in French or English?

On demand... it's your choice.
