Some of you owe me money. RE LOANS!

Listen there are a few of you out there that owe me sums of money. Seriously I have not bothered you and was there for you when you needed it. Now you have not said shit to me since I sent it to you.

Not directed at any one person either.

Just going to say those of you who do, know you do and should at very least contact me and let me know you still remember and give me some sort of payment plan. Those that do not well, it is your own bed.

Why not, it has always paid more than I could loose even if none of these people paid me a dime. I just make sure I do not loan nor invest in people on a whim.

If I owe you money, you'll have to duke it out with my landlord and student loan creditors. May the best man win... my money.

WarChild 07-02-2008 11:42 PM

Yeah but if you subtract the bad loans to GFYers from the money that was donated to you from GFY members so that you could buy a specific wheel chair for your wedding to help realize a dream of dancing with your new bride, but then didn't or couldn't buy and banked the money for later instead ... You're still ahead, right?

Actually that money is still sitting and waiting for the chair and my ability to go through another operation to use it. Still recovering from a bad experience from my cancer operation which left me in a coma for a few days after the operation.

At the time of that auction/event than even I tried to bail out of due to drama issues during it. I had no damn clue that the company that is making them had a not yet listed medical requirement. So aside from getting on the waiting list, yes there is still one. A person needs certain medical requirements to use it. I either have to have a bit of tendon surgery or remove my left leg. According to both of my main doctors to do so at this point in time would be to risky.

Then to get technical the donor of the cash (1 company) honestly does not give a rats ass what I do with the money. Though I fully plan on using it for exactly what it was intended for. Yet thank you again for bringing it up. Maybe some others would like to know the current status.

As for any loaned money, that was money that I have since earned and used for business purposes. I still have a lot of medical bills and I still pay those since that is still my largest expense. Do not however see how me loaning money to people has anything at all to do with an auction that someone held for me nor why I would subtract bad investment loans from it.

This is why I do not "lend" money, if anything its a gift.

Congrats to you for jumping on the train. Feel free to explain the whole owned issue though.

Lets see.
Someone else organized/held auction for my benefit.
One company sent me a wire for the winning amount and got the donated sigs.
I tried stopping event and even offered to have all proceeds divided up among sig donors when people started with drama, that was not going to happen.
I discover chair not only has huge ass waiting list, yet after talking with company it also has anatomical needs that I could not meet without additional surgery.
I again talk with company, offer refund etc. they tell me to spend it however I want to in short. I instead decide to keep it in special account so I can get it when I can. Even though total amount is still way short of actual costs.
I end up in hospital for more than 4 months racking up more bills, instead of using that money I just deal with it and work more.
I get to find out in December I have bladder cancer and spend holidays in Standford. Go under knife and am now without a bladder and still have cancer plus some more bills. Still do not touch that money though as my other business work has really taken off more.

So please explain where in the hell I am owned. Well physically I sure and the hell am. I mean 25 years or so as a para, close to 30 or so surgeries, chronic pain, and now cancer sure. Yet fucking excuse me if I happen to have worked my ass off and it really has began to pay off even more than before this year and that I decided to also loan out some of my own down money to help some others.

I typically invest money with people.
There just are a few people that asked if I could loan them some. Personally if they kept in contact I would not sweat it at all. That is not the real issue. The main issue is them going MIA.
I am never willing to loan money I am not OK with loosing. I just do not like them to cut contact after the fact.

Oh btw 2 of the three have already corrected issues and at least got a hold of me and no BS stories. One made payment plan, and other just said he was afraid of contacting me cause he could not pay. We had a talk and came to an agreement.

Like I said medically I did end up with short end of stick.
Stress does not really bother me as I rarely allow shit to stress me out.

Very much so. I never should have asked now that I think about it.

dav3 07-03-2008 01:03 AM

That motivated me to work a little harder. Starting tomorrow of course.
