Mine crapped out on me today. It was a free gift from EB a few years back so it got alot of use but said goodbye...RIP FREE LAPTOP :(

What do you have and why do you like it. Mine was a Sony Viao and it got really fucking hot on my legs lol.. I need something to run Photoshop with ease. Or maybe has one for sale..

Anyone know of any good places online to get one. Thanks in advance :thumbsup

I had a sony that died it sucks. It got so hot you would think you could cook eggs on it.

I go with ACER, simply for the price, and no regrets passing it along every two years for the latest and greatest model.

Whatever you get get a core 2 duo processor. fatwallet and techbargains usually have links to good deals.

I also have to say Ive had my gateway now for over 4 yrs and it has given me no problems.

my toshiba is nice. no probs what so ever for 2 years. I was going to make a joke like "you can have the top of my lap any day"... so there you have it.

Will be two years in August for my Toshiba Satellite. Will upgrade soon, but not because of issues with the hardware.

Dell has an awesome one for business. The Vostro with the 17inch monitor.

HP.. no issues with mine ever and the 10 people + i know that have them...

Go Macbook Pro you can get real bargin using the Apple Refurbish store i've had mines for couple months very solid better battery life and looks very sexy...

Macbook Pro is really good (even if you wipe the OS and only use Windows). The colors are accurate colors (since you design). I had a problem with my Dell having a horrible blue cast to everything. Keyboard is good but the alt key might be weird at first because they swap apple and alt.

Don't get a Sony. The video drops on mine and the only way to get it back up is to reboot. Sucks if you are doing something and don't get the key combo right to save first.

Mine has 3 gigs of ram and a 250 gig drive so I paid a little extra for it but it's a pretty fast machine and I'm happy with it!

Just get a Macbook Pro.

My Dell has been going great. Google "Dell Coupons" too and you may find some type of rebate, etc. Then shop directly from the dell website.
