mid xx,xxx . . would be a great domain for a shock tube site...just my :2 cents:

XPays 07-02-2008 12:18 PM

i would guess $1000 -- $2000 since it is a fairly common saying.

Nikki_Licks 07-02-2008 12:22 PM

I truly could not answer that one. I have a couple of domain names I was interested in the value of and would sell if the price was worth it to me, but I can not find a place to appraise them.

Good luck :thumbsup

Interesting, considering the prices you put on your names for sale.

Examples:
JoinPal.com $2500
MediaRevenue.com $3500
VideoPlatform.com $7500
GiveMeMovies.com $5000
MovieFetch.com $7500
TheVideoHost.com/TheVideoHost.net $15000
Checkrun.com $20,000

Voodoo 07-02-2008 12:39 PM

$1,100.00 to $1,500.00

i inquired about buying this domain last year. I was willing to pay 15k but I didnt even get a response.

Anyway Im sure there is someone out there willing to pay 25k for it, but in an auction I doubt it would fetch anything above 10k.

it's all a matter of opinion. you can see here that we have greatly reduced the prices for adult names into the $xxx range for the most part.

As to your domain. I say high x,xxx. develop low xx,xxx

TyroneGoldberg 07-02-2008 01:19 PM

only 2,220,000 searches in google. I see it's parked. so mid to high x,xxx. I wouldn't go higher than that

Has anyone noticed that most domain SELLERS think THIER names are worth more than they really are and that most domain BUYERS think that OTHER'S domains are worth little.

WWC-Pajio 07-02-2008 01:26 PM

$1000 max

tranza 07-02-2008 01:29 PM

It partially makes sense to me. A seller wants to shoot for the sky, to leave room for negotiating a price closer to what he really wants. A buyer wants to feel like he's walking away with a steal.

crockett 07-02-2008 01:59 PM

what about RottenFuckers.com

bloggingseo 07-02-2008 02:02 PM

I think it's a good domain name worth 10K in my opinion.

What I find more funny is how domainers buy and sell domains between each other for prices that you really have to question whether or not an actual developer would ever pay. I'll look at past domain sales, and even those from years ago are still on parked pages. They are almost never developed.

So it's almost like... sellers want to sell for the highest price... and buyers want to buy for the lowest price.. and that, if you put them together in a room, or gave them a means to bargain, that buyers would make bids and sellers would make offers until they reached a mutually beneficial price for a sale??? like that????

Most sellers want unrealistic money for a domain and buyers want to pay an unrealistically low amount for it and the spread is massive. I would imagine both people feel ripped off when the spread is so great. I have domains that were "appraised" at $20K but realistically worth about $2K based on what people have paid me for similar domains of mine. If I cut the appraised value in half to $20K it is still way more than it was worth to most people and $10K less than what I would feel I wanted for it. BIG spread.
