Website translation on the fly.....
 

Anyone know if there is a script available that can translate on the fly. Only one I have seen that seems to work so far is part of http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:dokuwiki. Click on one of the languages at the top right and it has the site in multiple languages and since it is a wiki (always changing) it must have script running it.

has on the fly translation got accurate lately? I always heard it wasn't very accurate and you should hire translation if you really need it done right.

Yes, but when you want to translate a website that is constantly changing a one time translation does not work.

Unfortunately what they say is true, your site will be a disaster if you use automated translations - occassionally the translation is pretty good if they have full made phrases and the like but specially from English since there's many times where the phrase has no explicit gender and the verbs/idioms difference... you end up selling something entirely different. :2 cents:
