So... what happened to the new law proposals in Holland yesterday?
 

A recall several new internet laws like 2257 stuff and such were going to be proposed on july 1st in the netherlands.
What's the outcome of this?

No idea what happend, my biz is registered in cypern so.. not that i would care at all.

Don't you think the law will also affect you? No matter where your business is registered..

not much happened

as I posted the proposal has been filed, theyre gonna look into it now and set up the text n all, this isnt something you wanna do overnight, but as soon as any real text is available as where what and who needs to file and all Ill post

For most of us this doesnt mean any big changes btw - we already have all 2257 docs releases and IDs on file, just like the majority of the dutch sites, just if youre hosting in Holland and have non compliant content youre fucked, maybe not today but certainly tomorrow.

So stay safe and make sure you got all 2257 in place - just like we do :)
