Auctions suck - always lure you in with $1 and you end up paying like $100 when its finished. Stupid. Just give a competitive CTR / CPM and all is well.

sharphead - we do that as well. But here we auction off our un-sold adspace. It gives a person a chance to buy up a spot dirt cheap. While Advertisers and Sponsors are willing to Pay top $ , webmaster usually are more conservative.
