More Submission Questions, Thx!
 

Hey there!

I just have a few noob questions regarding my submission of the following gallery:

Most of the common errors I'm getting back from the submission program are the following:

1. More than 10 links
2. Gmail Blacklisted

According to the gallery I've submitted, where would you cut back on links? What would you change in this gallery?

This is my first gallery from scratch (not a wordpress gallery like I usually do), please be nice :)

woah, way too many links.. I personally don't go above 2.

3 to 4 is fine and up to 6. Most sites want recips to other big sites along with theirs. so that adds to the total number.

Now every keyword needs to be a link, so clean that up.

yea, looking over it again. You probably won't get accepted anywhere with that layout.. ever. Keep it simple in this order,, Recip, header (keep is small), content, link, 2257. Thats it, the customer doesn't need to be tricked, either he wants to continue to that site or not.

Did you even tried to open a few galleries before doing your own???

2-4 links is the rule nowadays.

Your thumbs are WAY too big also.

That "Bookmark" link on the top, is also a big no-no...

One of the concerns i have is: do the image content links count towards "too many links" and if so, what do you recommend I do, link only a select amount of images?

No, the image links to not count as outbound links. But you have a slew of links that do. You pretty much will be safe everywhere with TWO sponsor links, and a 2257 link.

Your recip links, which are required, do count as outbound links.

I'm getting flamed for this gallery I'm sure, new gallery is on the way. No worries.

yeap that's better..... now you need to work on your design and the amount of thumbs you are going to use.... most sites ask for at least 15 pics... ur using 6 :Oh crap

ah yes, im not sure if the simpler is better concept applies more here with a tgp, maybe this will do?

Ah now the submission results recommend 10 thumbnails. Okay, that'll be my next gallery goal. :)

Wow have you never surfed a tgp?? Hell all you'd have to do is visit a couple tgp submission pages and read the rules to get a general idea of what you can and can't do. Fuck man building a tgp page is the basics of porn... damn

Stop reading what your submission results say and start reading the rules different tgp's have.
The way you are doing it now you will be banned at all the tgp's before you get one right...

The second attempt is definitely better than the first. To get accepted at the majority of TGPs make sure you have 15 or 16 images and no more than 3 ad links. On my galleries I only use 2 but most TGPs will allow 3.

I think a general rule of thumb is to keep your gallery so that the layout will fit at 800x600 with your recips and header small enough so that the first row of thumbs still show up at that resolution.

Some of the more stringent TGPs have the total outbound links set to 7 and most don't allow more than 10 so what I normally do is instead of having a 2257 link at the bottom I just put the URL in text there and don't link it. Most times the 2257 link doesn't put your total over but some TGPs have 2 outbound links in their recips.
