Hey,
Yes, it's one of the best painkillers out there for moderate to severe pain. Non-narcotic yet opiate-related, it straddles the fence between anti-inflammatory and narcotic medications. It works really well, from experience, without totally making you useless like Percocet would. I dunno why it's not used more.

Downside is seizure risk if you use too much, so you definitely should stick to under 400mg per day. If you're prone to seizures definitely bring that up with your doctor.

I was prescribed some after surgery and it made me sick as a dog. There's a certain strength of hydrocodone that does the same - I can take a low dose, but not a higher one. Percoset was the only thing that helped with the pain but didn't make me sick. Yes, it makes you woozey, but I was recovering from surgeries - I wanted to wooze ;)

I take it 150mg a day for back injury, it helps.

This is correct.

Quite a few people don't react to it well but I would say the majority do. It's an atypical opioid, synthetic opiate, works in a similar way to codeine but not quite.

I can work quite easily on it, great fun every now and then (doesn't fuck you up too much, just makes you really happy - that's if you take it when you're healthy). Way lighter on the system for me than actual opiates.

Only downside is I can't get it up after 400mg of Tramadol and a few drinks... Ah well, can't have it all ;)

In Thailand you can buy a sheet of 10 x 50mg tabs for about $1.50 USD, from any chemist, legally too.

I was taking Tramadol, 8 pills daily, for 6 months. Landed me in the hospital with chest pains.. still paying off that god damn medical bill.

I took a few one day while sitting here in front of the computer and my head would randomly twitch or something weird which must of been mild seizures now that I think of it. Kinda scary.

I never liked em nearly as much as percocets, demerol or vicodin.
