How did it work out for your price wise?

Really think the market had bottomed out enough yet?

A cash flow generating investment isn't a speculative investment. Using your logic, ALL investments are speculative, which is true.

Buying/Selling out-of-the-money WTI crude options / futures (purchasing a derivative instrument when not used as a hedge against an ongoing business) THAT'S speculation.

For real estate, entering into a short-term private option agreement to purchase property (ie highly leveraged) with the intention of 'flipping' the property into the open market upon option exercise, that would be hardcore real estate speculation.

Kudles 06-30-2008 11:04 AM

Congrats! Take care of it.

TimBlaze 07-25-2008 12:27 AM

The undercover cop i had lined up to rent it backed out since the DEA called him up to do seminars in Washington. but yeah that was legit lol he seemed like a cool dude he would have been a great tenant.

still on the hunt for a tenant! looking for someone old with good bladder control

Nice. I use to live in Deep Creek a year ago. Hit me up sometime

xmas13 07-25-2008 01:10 PM

Bullshit. The guy is not qualified to invest other people's money and that's what he is doing now.

US taxpayers and foreigners are currently bailing out thousands, tens of thousands of "condo investors" like him in Florida.

The money is not his, and the use is speculative.

It's the reason for the big mess in the US. "Free" money is given away to kids for "investments".

NicAngel 07-25-2008 01:14 PM

Congrats...It's always nice to purchase a home...and at only 20...good job!

xmas13 07-25-2008 01:15 PM

A Western European banker would never offer big loans to kids, immigrants and the poor for speculative investments. It's nonsense.

xmas13 07-25-2008 01:16 PM

In Germany it's even hard to obtain a loan for your main residence, let alone to speculate.

xmas13 07-25-2008 01:20 PM

American bankers are going to cause another disaster like in 1929.

robfantasy 07-25-2008 02:01 PM

how much hard money did you put down baller?

cutievids 07-25-2008 02:10 PM

Wait, so you're looking to rent it out and keep living with parents?

Violetta 07-25-2008 02:30 PM
