The Bucket List

I thought it was supposed to be a comedy.

DefaultMan 06-28-2008 09:44 PM

It wasn't? Odd

Yeah, it was serious subject matter but, I thought it was pretty funny anyway.

:2 cents:

My Dad spoke very highly about the movie and I told him it got fair reviews. He said maybe because he has stage 4 lung cancer he could relate to it more with a chuckle. He is my hero.

There may have been a couple chuckles, but it was way too depressing to be funny, IMHO.

Not saying it wasn't a good movie, just not a "comedy" in my opinion.

So did I. Luckily I saw it on a plane and I could change it after a while. A few drinks couldn't even salvage this trash.

More like a "dramedy", I guess.

Also, more than a couple chuckles. Not "ROTFLMAO funny" but I found myself laughing throughout. Nicholson and Freeman worked well together.

Maybe your age makes it not funny for you?

It was my new favorite, heart warming, emotional movie..
Well and I'm a chick too.

But yea.. it's one of my top 5 favorite movies..

I don't see funny listed, but there are a couple good reasons for that.
