My exciting weekend plans....(totally NOT a business related thread)......

Most of you know the SweetT that is always hanging around young, gorgeous hotties at the pool or in a club.....and I love being that man, make no mistake about it.

Very few of you really know me as Tony and let me tell ya, Tony is having the most exciting weekend....this is WAY better than any party at the playboy mansion (even though that was one of the highlights of my life).....I coach my sons little league baseball team and starting this morning we are entering the State Championship Tournament as the #1 seed after DOMINATING the Divisional Championship Tournament last weekend with 5 wins and 0 losses and a combined score of 79-14.

Sorry...I just had to share with somebody! Very few things will get me up this early on a Saturday morning but I am alive and kicking this morning ready to take on the world!!!

I only know you from trying to steal customers away from a host that had downtime. With the biggest bullshit excuse ive read in the last 6 months.

That's one handsome and well behaved kid, you've got there T - and now it seems he's talented sportswise too :) Hard to believe I knew him when he was in a baby carrier - they grow too fast :(

Best of luck!! If it hits the local news, LMK which channel.

Congrats and good luck. I used to love coaching Little League, soccer and basketball when my son was young.

SweetT 06-29-2008 06:49 PM

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Just as an update....we played hard all weekend. Had 5 games over 2 days to make it all the way to the final State Championship game. This one was for all the marbles. The game took almost 4 hours (only 6 innings in our age bracket) in the hot Georgia sun, and we managed to just run out of steam in the top of the 7th (yes, we went into extra innings) and let them get up by 3 runs and we just couldn't bounce back. Final score 15-12.

We had a great year...only lost to two teams all year long....couldn't be prouder of the boys....and, lets face it...finishing in 2nd place in the entire State of Georgia is nothing to sneeze at.

Next year we move up to another age bracket so we will be almost starting over...but it is fun to watch the teams build over the years. We will be back in the big game again!!! ;)

I just got through coaching a girls 8 and under softball team and I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it. I did it as a favor for my friend who broke her leg really badly last fall and now I'm hoping she doesn't want them back, lol.

We won 1st in our league's division, but the girls don't have regionals to advance on to. We thought about doing a travel team this summer but didn't have enough time to get it together. Most of the girls cheer for me, so if we can work out our schedule around football, we're going to play fall ball in a neighboring city's league.

And congratulations on 2nd. That really is a big deal. A lot of my girls have brothers who are still in the thick of it over here. We're finishing up District tourneys now and State started yesterday and runs through July 12th (in AL). We've already got one group going.

ModelShrines 06-29-2008 09:43 PM

Congrats, hope your team does well. Without ever seeing them play, I can safely assume that they can beat the San Diego Padres. In fact, they could probably take the entire NL West. What a lousy division.

Spunky 06-29-2008 09:46 PM

It must be a great feeling.good luck

SweetT 06-30-2008 08:06 AM

Thanks, everyone, for the well wishes!!!

Holly, my boys are 8U, as well, so I can understand how you feel the way you do about the kids. It is just so much fun watching them learn and then putting what they learned to use and having it turn into a win for them. Simply amazing. Even if your friend wants her team back next year, still stick with them. You guys can both work together for the good of the team. The girls will love you for it ;)

ModelShrines....you sound like a true Padres fan. Dont worry...it will get better. I had to live through 20 years of being a fan of the Atlanta Bumbling Braves....but it eventually got better....of course, I am worried about the next few years.

I definitely will hang around. I had two dads who helped me coach this year and that's what made all the difference. They're both big ball players who each had 2 daughters and no sons, so they channeled all that "Little League" energy into their girls. :winkwink:

The team was 5th last year so everyone was really excited about doing so well. We'll only have one girl who has to move up to 10U next year, so I think we will kick ass again next season.

That's why I don't splash pictures of myself all over here and leave a road map to my house. :1orglaugh

I've been coaching tumbling and cheer for years and several people knew I was doing some online "adult" stuff. I don't fool with porn that much anymore, but as long as you're not starring in it or putting nekkid pictures of yourself on the web, most people don't care if you're just dealing with affiliate/traffic stuff.

That sounds great!! It sounds very similar to where we have been. Started T-Ball at 5 years old in 6U and we won some games and lost some games. The next year we were all 6 years old and we wont every game of the regular season and then won the park tournament (no post season for that young in our association). The next year we were all 7 year olds in the 8U and we played em hard and finished in 2nd place in the park, but got eliminated very quickly in post season play. Then this year we were the big dogs in the 8U class. Next year, however, we are moving up again into 10U so we will be the small fish again...but it will be fun, no matter what!

Congrats to you, again, for your success...glad to know I am not the only one who has "the bug" ;)

Congrats T, Family should always be first and it's great you're putting some time in your sons life like you are doing.

But with that said, one must continue to be Sweet T ;-)

Have a good summer my friend.
