just researching before i buy it

i like it a lot, but it's hell on mySQL db which is hosted with natnet...and i only have 41,000 clips in the tube right now

It's a great script. The only problem is it uses legal tube videos and no sites with legal videos do real traffic.

The surfers want the 10+ min clips. Not a 12 sec video.

I dont see any negative sides to TEVS yet, i mainly encode my own videos and host them myself or sponsor hosts them, So im not doing what most of the people are doing, but its a great investment

I have 200K movies placed on it, and I do not complain also.

so if its an amature home video thats 8 min long sumbited by a surfer, then it wont accept?

Tiava's tube is legal and seems to be doing pretty well....

tevs doesn't do user uploads at all

been using it for awhile and no real issues, just waiting on the v1.1 to see what Zorgman has had up his sleeve.

TEVS v1.1 is coming along very nicely. Half my staff are sick atm with the flue but im pressing on with the code myself. Hopfully get it finished very soon.

Some of my clients have already seen a quick peek and they love the new functions.

Its not that it won't accept, there's just no place for it to accept. The script was designed to use sponsor hosted embeds or to up load your own video, not to receive user submitted vids.

TEVS can import hosted FLV content the sponsors provide.

Burn the sponsors B/W, use TEVS, less risk, less cost

Legal Tube Sites are the new TGP/MGP's.

BVBucks is TEVS enabled.

TEVS is a great script and Zorgman really delivers on the support. Not much to dislike about it.

TEVS is a good script.

Here is what i don't like :
=> Every pages are not rewrited
=> MySQL queries not realy optimized

And the admin encoded in zend: i like to put my two cent in the code, here i can't (or i must "dezend" it ...).
The frontend is a little "simple" (no rss, rewrite not everywhere) but it's a great begin (some work needed)

But the support is realy great: he answer to all question as quickly as he can!

I'd like to be able to importk hosted .flv gallery videos easier then doing them one by one. Hopefully we can do that in 1.1

Take for example the fuckyoucash hosted galleries with 1 .flv video. If i could easily grab all those urls, have the script search for the .flv in the code, grab it, screen cap etc then that would be awesome.

why cant anyone code the same script without the legal videos bullshit?

I went away from Teves for 1 main reason, it seems to choke and the admin runs slow as hell once you clear around 50k videos. Was gonna be fixed 1.1 but 1.1 never came :( So i moved on. Its great at what is does just needs better optimization. Better pick up the pace before the ST Tube thing hits or your gonna loose ground quick imo.

I agree, the current admin controls do slow it down. This is being fixed for v1.1 which will be released extremely soon. :)
