Actually you're going to see glorified cover bands, (Styx isn't Styx without Dennis De Young & Boston isn't Boston without Brad Delp (RIP) ) but I did the same thing, and it was still a kick ass show... Enjoy. :)

I hear the new lead singer for Boston is fantastic, and does justice to Brad Delp's memory.

Lead singer for Styx is still Canada's Larry Gowan. I've never seen them since he's been with them but I hear he does a great job of it as well.

Damn, it's been a while since I last heard about them.

I AM SO JEALOUS!! Those are two of my all time favorite bands. Boston was the first "date" concert I ever went on. 10th grade I think. I have them on my ipod and they are awesome treadmill songs :)

I went with some HS girlfriends to see Chicago and Little River Band a few years ago and all the "kids" around us were so impressed that we knew the words to the songs, lol.

I've seen Styx live with Larry Gowan and he does an incredible job of sounding just like Dennis DeYoung and he's a little better showman...this is a concert worth seeing!

I wish Boston would take their tour to the UK

I had to look at the date of this thread. They were pre hair band. 71 or 72 was when I first listened to them.
