Oh I've seen this one before. Forgot it was rerun season. That lady was in a bad way for sure, really would suck to be in that position.
I know when my father died when I was a kid, it left my mother with 6 kids, a NEW house, and zero income. We had no giant group of family/friends there to "help" with loads of cash, and eventually (MANY years later) lost the house.. But everyone survived. Sucked cooking over an open flame in the garage during those times when the power was turned off, and taking sponge baths before work.. but hey, still survived.

It's funny how a woman will call into her show and Orman will tell her to leave her husband based only on financial struggles.

If you buy a home, make sure you can pay for it on the money you earn at Mc Donalds. that way, if all hell breaks lose, you are ok.

I buy EVERYTHING in cash. If I don't have it sitting in one of my bank accounts, then I can't afford to have it. That is the way things are supposed to be. :2 cents:

I make enough money to buy what I want, and if it's out of reach (say a million dollar house), I eat my humble pie and pass.
