The kid was so cute walking around playing it. I told him if she practices hard,She could be first chair for recorder with the atlanta symphony orchestra. lol

We got my son drums a few months ago when he was 3 and a half and he LOVES them! The kid has rhythm and bangs them day and night.

My daughter, who was super jealous because she always wanted a set ... and is now almost 11 yrs old - JUST got a set that I have to put together this weekend.

It already gets loud here and it's about to get LOUDER!!!!!!!

LOL

That is your job as an uncle. My uncle bought me a copy of Reefer Madness for my 12th birthday. You shouldn't have seen my mom's face.

On the instruments..I played the trumpet. Luckily by that time my folks had moved into the woods so there weren't many neighbors to complain.

GetSCORECash 06-26-2008 04:15 AM

A recorder is a great instrument, any woodwind instrument is great to help a child with their speach/voice. You actually helped him out.

Boring brother you have...let your niece happy..that's what really matter!

nexxus 06-26-2008 07:32 AM

Haha, I remember having a recorded when I was that age, introduced my parents to my..er...musical talent early on.

stickyfingerz 06-26-2008 07:38 AM

Those are nothing. My sister got my kids a sit and spin thing with no on off switch on it. 4 whole different songs on it. And if you walked past it it would start up. Very loudly. lol
