with "a nut" you know who your enemy is
under communism, "society" becomes the enemy of the individual, and the individual is the enemy of society

I thought you were being a smart-ass until I noticed you're not from my country :)

Yes, they are generally considered un-american by any reasonable person's standards over here. We have a war memorial here with the names of - I believe it's over 58,000 men - dedicated to the memory of those who gave their life fighting the Communist threat overseas. So they are not a popular group.

I urge all liberal minded people to consider voting for Nader as opposed to the big money corporate endorsed puppets they are presented with :winkwink:

So, what is Nader going to do to create a better America for me?
I ask that seriously.

Just a point I felt should be made: Most conflict with Communism in the past was not the result of ideological differences over government form in so much as it was about economics and post WW2 agreements.

Let's face it, no form of government is perfect because they are all made up of flawed human beings. It seems most forms are good at first (at least when put together behind honest ideology) and errode over time.

And I bet the "god hates fags" guy is more likely to vote for McCain than Obama. So what am I supposed to determine about McCain from that? NOTHING.

Bob Barr will take more votes away from McCain than Nader will from Obama.

Exactly. I think it's funny how some people look at communism like it's some kind of practice of the devil. The concept was actually pretty good, it's just that it won't work in nowadays world.

I'd be surprised if he didn't have a good % of the conservative vote... after some debates the hardcore right wingers will be up Barr's proverbial ass.
