there are correlations to scholastic achievement/ability in high school and future income
i am not going to waste my time digging it up, but most entrepeneurs and business owners were average students or less than average in the US. There are strong links between entrepeneurialism and Attention Deficit Disorder which explains this. some people just cant work for other people, conform to others schedules, meet the demands of others, do it their way, compromise, communicate well etc etc etc. that says nothing of their ability to make money or run their own successful business. The adult web is FULL of these exact people. We watch them fail all the time, when they try to go from mommas garage to trying to work with other people or launch multiple projects... though they were doing quite well on their own.
Most students that were focused on scholastic achievement go on to decent universities and on to above average jobs.
most people like me who had a .5 GPA in the 10th grade are either doing quite well for themselves or in jail.
