Why would they buy out Darcy Tucker??
 

I don't get it.. If he has time left on his contract, why not trade him? What's the point of just paying him to play somewhere else more quickly?

I understand the no trade clause.. but with 3 years left on his contract, he doesn't want to play in the MINOR LEAGUE for all that time, does he? :)
