OMG don't you know it's like totally racist to question Obama?

TheSenator 06-24-2008 01:41 PM

Did you know that McCain has a black daughter?

Tom_PM 06-24-2008 01:43 PM

HUGE flip flop. Totally indefensible, yet nobody is ripping him a new one. Oh well, it's not like we all didnt notice how fucked up the news business is. More important to get your dot com name on the screen and keep advertising costs low. It should all be reclassified as "entertainment" and some good people should start a US News network that actually gives a shit.

That's okay, lots of Mexicans in my family. I think that gets me a pass.

Besides, I have a token black guy t-shirt.

TheDoc 06-24-2008 01:51 PM

No idea what he said... what's his new view?

TheSenator 06-24-2008 01:52 PM

Bad Obama.... He fucked up but its hard to get by on 85 million dollars when going to public finance...when the Republican war chest exceeds 250 million....

What the fuck would you do?

Matt 26z 06-24-2008 01:53 PM

Yes, but a necessary flip flop. I don't think voters really care either.

If Republicans and their groups could stick to the issues instead of throwing irrelevant mud, then each candidate would be able to compete with an equal amount of money.

I think Republicans are making such a big deal out of this because they know it's going to give Obama the election, and they have nobody to blame but themselves. You can't swiftboat a candidate into defeat and then expect that party to leave themselves wide open a second time in a row.

You can't take away an Obama supporter's right to respond to every criticism with "racist!" What will they have left? :(

So fuck the change he has been promising? Just as long as it is clear.

IllTestYourGirls 06-24-2008 01:56 PM

ya issues like why is Obama going to vote for the new FISA bill?

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2...eillance-deal/

when will Obama supporters realize they have been fooled by a crafty liar?

_andy_ 06-24-2008 01:57 PM

Oh please. Flip Flop Schlip Schflop.

Back in 07, he didn't foresee building the biggest political money making machine in history. If you had the capability to raise $300 million, would say aw shucks and take the $80 mil from the federal gov't. Probably not right!

He decided that campaign finance reform wasn't a great idea since he raised $250 million + during the primaries.

Funny, seems the only one bringing race into this is you.

If you take away the crying about the race card, what else would Republicans have left. :1orglaugh

Why ??? He just demonstrated change of mind .....

Probably didn't want to be swiftboated like Kerry .... After all, Diebold is not under his control...

Now let's talk flip-flop ( oups, I meant drilling ) and flip-flop ( oups, I meant tax cuts ) and finally flip-flop ( oups, I meant torture ) .... :1orglaugh

I saw it on television, don't have a link. Fairly sure it was during/right after the N.C. primaries though.

It was a very contradictory sight; if something doesn't matter, then why shout about it at the top of one's lungs? Or if the topic (any topic) does matter, but you don't want people to know that it matters to you, then again, why shout about it publicly?

Obviously it mattered enough to those doing the shouting, to shout about it.

Please, take away the race card so no one gets to cry about it anymore. But we know that isn't going to happen, don't we?
