Wordpress For A Paysite Tour
 

I dont know much about wordpress but it looks like a pretty versatile little script.

Has anyone heard of using wp for a paysite tour?

Well it'd make it easy to update..

I have designer friends that don't know how to code so they use wordpress for EVERYTHING..

Dunno about security and stuff like that tho.. Wordpress has been getting hacked left and right lately...

I also don't think it'd be that efficient for a tour page.. slow loading etc....

also tour pages are EXTREMELY simple to code.

And when your site gets hit my script kiddies I'll be laughing. Seriously though, no.

I wouldn't use it for that. Not very secure and uses a lot of system resources but a good script for blogging.

I have seen one site using it for their tour. Must have been a custom these because it didn't look like a WP install until I scrolled to the bottom of the page and saw the 'Powered By Wordpress' link. I have to say It looked impressive but like those above me said, probably not the best choice for a tour.
