Was up there last week on a road trip through Northern Cali. Nice place.

Thinking about heading up again for a few more days this summer.

What's to do in and around there with my wife?

Also, what can we take our kids to do?

I used to pick apples up there when I was a kid. Have a buddy that lives there now. He's a biker, but might know some family stuff too.

How much time do I have?

Camp Meeker in Sebastopol was always fun. Occidental is quaint.

Hell, I need to take a ride.

American River there for fishing.

will be towards the end of the summer when we go up again ... probably for week.

looking to "go and do" with the kids during the day ... on most days - but also looking to get away with my wife for a day and night while the aunt and uncle have the kids :winkwink:

There are some hot springs if you want to get nasty.

Close enough to Napa to check it out...believe it or not, wine country is also kid friendly.

Marine World in Vallejo is also in fairly close proxemity (it's an amusement park, not a USMC spa), plus San Francisco is less than an hour away, and Silicon Valley has Paramount's Great America.

The whole Bay Area is lots of fun...I hope you and your family have a great trip here - just stay away from the brown acid! :winkwink:

yeah wine country is the main attraction, tour the winerys. I lived in SR for four or five years.
