It's all about promo. If you think that letting people stream their own mix of 12 Techno bands on shoutcast is a bad thing then you should go back to sniffing some anthrax. Lots of artists make their living from the internet, mp3.com who would never get any exposure otherwise.

I think I seen something on TV that mentioned if their gross revenue is less than 1 million per year then they only have to pay a fee of less than $2000 or something.
