I need a "theme" for my latest dj mix
 

ok, so I am working on my latest mix, and i LOVE using themes

those that paid attention in the past have noticed big lebowski as one and fear and loathing as another

I need another movie that was a classic "alternative culture" epic that we all know and will always love

maybe requiem for a dream? how about "blow"? trainspotting? spun? donnie brasco?

as you can see i lean more towards drug themes...lol

give me some ideas

How about a "travel the world" theme. That's what you're still planning to do right? So that would make sense to me.

Okay okay, a real suggestion now: Gladiator. There's lots of cool original music on that sound track as well as many notable lines.

actually, in past mixes I have at least 50% of my original music in there, each cd has more and more of it as I produce more and more

this latest mix is going to have some of my latest work, which also includes using local musicians over top of the music AND being used in the music I wrote

oh, those will be the them of the overall packaging and that will be definitely be in the mix, but I am thinking movie samples, like I did with fear and loathing in las vegas
