Actually I have gotten more mellow. I think having 4 kids helped a little on that one.... I have just learned to pick my battles a LOT more carefully so I am not stressed as bad and therefore not as bitchy. I don't worry so much about things I can't change anymore. lol

And I have NEVER been a nagging wife, I don't like to be nagged so I don't nag... which is why I have been able to hang onto my man for 25 years I guess.

My oldest son was engaged to be married, they had a baby and all of it, lived together and everything. She asked me how to maintain a solid relationship.... I told her she had to do 3 things and only 3 things and she'd be able to keep him...... 1) DO NOT NAG HIM, men hate to be nagged, you can get your point across without nagging.... this one she was insane about just like her damn stupid mamma....... 2) Allow him to have his male friends and do his male bonding, men need their male bonding time just like they do sex.... 3) Don't be OVERLY dependant on him for everything, learn to handle some things yourself and don't make it where you come off helpless, for your sake and his.

You know what she did? She nagged him right out the door and wonders what happened? rotfl

I agree TAM, Kids mello you out . I use to fuckin hate kids, the sound of screaming little voices in the store made me want to freak the fuck out !!! But then I had one of those and I don't freak out as much .. Not saying I never do just want to slap a kid in walmart but I controll myself now ....

Kids showing their asses in public STILL pisses me off to no end, but I just keep my mouth shut now..... I can tell you this though, I had each one of my kids throw a temper tantrum in public.. ONE time, and one time only..... and never again. not one of them are angels, but they know my boundaries and they know when they can get by with crossing them and when they can't. lol

That is seriously what calmed me down though.... and I was never a material person, so the whole "Take me shopping" thing was never my bag. I HATE to go shopping.

My husband tells me all the time I shoulda been a man.... rotfl
